Canvas: cotton canvas A horizontally long folding wallet, it is fastened closed with a button. With two inside pockets, the deeper one can be used as a coin purse. There is a small loop on the side of the wallet. In times past, a string was passed through so that the wallet could be hung from the neck and carried tucked inside the kimono or work clothes.
