Canvas cloth, which has been waterproofed, is used for all our products*. Paraffin, the raw material used when making candles, is used to waterproof the canvas, giving them their unique tautness. In addition to waterproofing, the paraffin coating acts as a dirt and stain deterrent. However, when the canvas rubs against an object, some white lines may appear on the canvas due to the paraffin coating being rubbed off. These will become invisible after the product has been used for a while.
*Aprons, hats, and some small products have not been waterproofed.

Download PDFUse a clothes brush to remove surface dirt; for stains on the canvas, pat gently with a damp cloth or towel.
Washing may reduce water resistance, resulting in bags/products getting dirty easily. Washing may also cause color to fade or shrinkage as well as some changes in the appearance of your bag. This is true, in particular, of pattern-dyed or linen canvas products. It is therefore highly recommended to avoid washing them for as long as feasible.
Store products in a well-ventilated place. Since all our products are made from natural materials, mold may form if left in a damp or humid place. Once mold forms, it may remain as a stain. Therefore, store in a dry place if the product is not in use for a prolonged time.
If washing is absolutely unavoidable, do not wash in a washing machine or dry clean, but gently do so by hand.
Fill a washbasin with water or lukewarm water and add the requisite amount of mild laundry detergent that is bleach-and fluorescent agent-free.
Place the bag in the cleaning liquid and pat gently with your hands to loosen dirt and stains. If dirt causes concern, evenly brush the entire area.
For prominent dirtThoroughly rinse off washing liquid with water or lukewarm water until there are no soap suds to be seen.
Drain off excess water. Straighten out wrinkles and pat dry with a towel.
Check that the bag retains its original shape and hang in a well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight until it is completely dry. If taken in when semi-dry, mold may form, so please be careful.
Evenly brush the entire area to clean off dirt. If only the area that is dirty is scrubbed, the color of that area may fade so please be careful.
Off-white is the natural color of canvas therefore there is no need to worry about color fading if washed with a brush or scourer.
Aprons and hats are not waterproofed, but please wash in the same way as with bags.
In order to keep wrinkles and shrinkage to a minimum, stretch out the wrinkles of the fabric after patting dry with a towel while retaining the shape of apron or hat and dry in the shade.
