Happy New Year!

Happy New Year!
Thank you to all of our loyal customers who came to our shop last year.

This year marks my 12th year since I started working at Ichizawa Hanpu as a craftsman.
For the past 11 years, I have enjoyed making bags so much so that not even once have I found the thought of going to work a chore.

Each New Year’s day, I have decided on new work goals and targets.
Although it is important to achieve my goals as are results, I believe that the process is the most important.
I wish to face my work while reflecting each day on what I should do and how.
My goal this year is to polish up the design of several bags that I had begun on a trial basis to the point where they can be placed on display and sold at our shop.
In my private life, I would like to further explore the intricacies of making spicy curry that I had started last year as a hobby.
My goal then this year, work-wise and in private, is to add a bit of spice to both my bags and curry.

Thanks to all our customers, we have made it through to our 115th Anniversary.
I would like to make further efforts and do a good job to make our customers happy.

We are looking forward to welcoming you again at our shop this year.
